I’m looking to add a vertical pellet smoker to my outdoor kitchen. I have the Rec Tec bull now and plan to keep it. Does anyone have any experience with the mammoth? If so please share your thoughts

No experience with it but have seen several YT vids with good reviews.
Looks like a solid unit to me.

The mammoth has been out a while. Wonder why there aren't any reviews yet. I'm looking for something that will give me more smoke than my Cookshack, thought this might fill the bill.

Don't buy the Mammoth! Mine arrived Friday and is dead on arrival.
Will not fire up then goes full on and over shoots Temps.
No Customer Support on weekends either.

That’s not good to hear.

I really like mine. It’s a great grill. What problems are you having exactly?

I think they're having problems with some of the motherboards/controllers. My Mammoth was off by 30-plus degrees. They sent me a new controller but I haven't fired it up yet. They were very nice about the replacement although there was a wait while replacements came in. I still have my for sale if anyone is interested.

Don’t worry a whole lot about temps swings, that’s serious. Next time you bake or roast something in your kitchen oven just slip a temp probe in there to monitor temps. They swing, guaranteed. Just cook and have fun with it.
