My second post here. I put in a thread for a digital thermo on sale at Buy.com just a few minutes ago.

I have been lurking for a few months here. Just trying to go ninja while I get ideas on new things to smoke. Been smoking meats for 5 years now and my kids have been loving them.

I am not a newbie at smoking and definitely an experienced griller as I cater to my church members every now and then.

Favorite and most proud of smoked meats - Pork Shoulders and Brisket (pastrami included).

Favorite work (non-meat) - Tofu (I know....I know....) but I am very close to perfecting this for my vegetarian friends. Coffee - I am a semi-professional coffee roaster.

welcome..........sounds like you got enough going to keep you busy!

Welcome from Fallbrook - Sounds like we have the coffee thing in common. I too am a roaster but would not consider it at the professional level - Glad to have you on board

Welcome from another SioCal smoker. Good to know you've come out of the closet and into the limelight of the SMF. It's all good my friend.

Welcome to the site Harry.
Would love to get your recipe for smoked tofu sometime, not for myself but for my Dad who is a vegetarian so I like to try and find things to smoke him that he would actually eat.
