I just got my grill/smoker and love it. I do have a question on wood though, we have pinon wood at work and was wondering if it is a good wood for smoking, since people do eat pinon nuts. Thanks in advance for any input.

NO! Do not use pinion wood. It's Pine & it's not suited for smoking food.

Got a bag of pinion splits for my outdoor fire bowl and in big bold letters across the bg. NOT TO BE USED FOR COOKING ,BBQ, SMOKING!!!
