Just realized I actually posted in someone elses welcome thread, so I'll copy and paste this into here.....

Hi all, I lurk on this forum occasionally to get recipes, or techniques to smoke something on my gas BBQ. I am currently living in Eastern Ontario, originally from BC. I want to get into making and smoking sausages(venison in particular) as it is near impossible to find anyone locally, and being in the Canadian Army, I can't be finding someone new every time I get posted.

Other than what I do on the BBQ, I don't have any experience smoking. Anyways hope to get some more good info from the site. I've started going through the smoker reviews, wow, so many choices....
