Greenest Newbie From Just North of Chicago...

Good day to you all!

My name is Brian and I was born and raised just North of Chicago. I've always been interested in smoking meat and planned to purchase a smoker, until one day my mother-in-law showed up at our house and bequeathed me her late husband's Char-Broil H2O Deluxe Water Smoker. I have yet to use the smoker (I just recently figured out how to set it up), but I look forward to my first experience all the experiences to follow.

I'll be posting to this site regularly in the hope that all the sage advice from more experienced smokers will help me to become a competition-level smoker (and justify to my wife my need to purchase a new smoker).

About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
