Hey just a shout out to all of my fellow smokers . I won't be doing any cooking this weekend as I am going to my son's track meet . With that said I was wondering what you guys and gals are cooking ~

fixin' to pick up some Blue Point Oysters this afternoon @ Whole Foods to grill tomorrow, may smoke a couple, probably eat a couple raw.

Also going to do some pork(bb ribs) or beef(roast) on the WSM, I was going to check out the bb ribs @ Whole Foods while I was there until I heard the price. On sale for $5.99/lb, usually $9.99/lb.

Its supposed to rain all weekend here, however that wont stop me, the WSM, or the Weber kettle from doing a good smoke, a little wet, or cold weather never does/will.

Nothing for me my kid could have up to eight hockey games this weekend. Between High School playoffs and a tournament. Wish us luck!!

the oysters are a pretty good deal, under $10/dz, cant wait to have them.

the ribs not so much, I will have to go elsewhere to get some, although I am curious what $9.99/lb(on sale of the $5.99 price) bb ribs would taste like vs the ones I usually pick up. I am not sure how the all natural, no antibiotics label, etc. would help or hurt them.

Since I love pain, this weekend will be:

• 20 lbs of beef snack sticks
• 10lbs of beef and jalapeno snack sticks
• 10lbs of beef and cheddar snack sticks
• 20lbs of pulled pork
• 15lbs of roast beef
• 10lbs of mild cheddar
• 5lbs of pepperjack
• 2lbs of reduced fat sharp cheddar

I think I am gonna need more booze.

I was originally gonna have a few buddies over for Pork Butt & Ribs, but plans have since changed... dont know if i will be smoking, but tonight i will be making some Fried Chicken, Pepperoni Bread, & several mixed drinks all to be accompanied w/ several beer's

Hopefully if time permits i will smoke some BBs (havent had them in months) on Sunday... we shall see... looking forward to some good fried chicken 2nite!

Definitely a breakfast fattie to take to work Sunday morning to share with my co-workers. Going to smoke it Saturday evening and take it in Sunday morning. Slice it up and fry it up, throw a couple of fried eggs on top. MMMMMM. I think I might try some moink balls and some ABT's on there as well.
