Good Deal on digital probe thermometer

Ran into this website and they got nice looking digital probe thermometers for 12.99, pretty good price I thought.

That's not a bad price. I got a similar Taylor oven thermometer off of Amazon for $12.75 a couple of years ago and really like it. Amazon's current prices are slightly higher for similar thermometers, but they have a wireless version for $14.99. This may be more suitable for barbecuing because you can wear the receiver on your belt and keep check on temperatures anywhere in the house or yard.

I checked out the amazon link for the Taylor thermometer...After reading through the 22 reviews listed...I have about decided to back away. There seems to be lots of problems with it. Wondering if others are experiencing some of the problems...?

I don't have to read the reviews.. had two taylors and had bad luck with both...the remote one just toppled over once and never worked again ...not very rugged at all ...I now have th maverick et73.. works great..no problems...
