I have a friend who gets a hold of nice drums for making a UDS. He has 55 gallon and some 30 gallon. They are food grade, I believe they had cooking oil in them, and he sells them pretty cheap.
If anyone is interested, here's his email. Please don't spam him, just email if your interested in getting any drums. He's around 20 miles or so south of Atlanta. Worth the drive though to make your own smoker!!
