pork butt any suggestions when do i start adding wood to the coals and should i soak the wood first.
What kind of smoker?
Smoked anything before?
Type of wood?

ET - the "soaking of the wood" dispute leans towards not soaking chips or chunks prior to using. Add those suckers to have the TBS flowing before you add your butt to ensure none of the white puffy stuff is hitting it upon it's initial rest on the grills.
