Well wish me luck my first rib contest is tomorrow. I dropped the smoker off tonight and plan on arriving in the morning at 4:30a.m. The judging is at 12:00. Now the bad news- Forecast thunderstorms all AM. Could be interesting, they are having it rain or shine. I will try to post some pics later and let you know how things went.

If you're into competitions, a shelter would be a good idea. Maybe a portable car shelter with walls. You just have to make some holes for the smoke to exit, possibly some flexible ducts.

And break a leg.

Well its 3:30 am maybe I'm a little excited but I can't sleep so Im up and making sure I didn't forget anything. Well the forecasters weren't wrong and its raining right now. I hope to have a little window to put my 10'x10' E-Z up tent up. At least we will be able to prepare things in the dry. Hope to have some good news later.
