So I Wash my fresh vegies , cook my food , and don't loose any sleep at night. Also looking forward to fresh from my own garden , but , IMHO the standard basic prep steps will remove 90% of any risk.
That last 10% , simmalar odds on a fire at home , car accident , or lightning strike , When your # is up , it's up . Outta your controll.
 
About 1 month ago I got it and never ate any peppers. FDA doesn't know what they are doing.
