Fall Colors @ Bear's House

I realize many of you guys have colors like this, but some of you don't, so I figured I'd show you some.

Many leaves are still Green, but many have fallen, so if I wait too long, most of them will be brown & on the ground.

Hope you enjoy,
Bear

Hey Bear, thanks for posting, we're past peak color up here now. I've been a bit busy so I didn't get to take any foliage pics this year.

That's a really good looking pellet stove you've got there BTW.

Very nice! Looks like you have a front row seat for some amazing natural art.....
Thanks Chef !!

Very pretty time of the year.

Two years ago in October, we had a freak snow storm, while most of the leaves were still on the trees. We got 20" of wet snow that tore limbs & trees down all over the place. We had no electric for 6 days that time. I like the Fall colors better than the white destruction.

Looks great Bear

I'm thinking you have a lot more leaves left on your trees than I do, so therefor a lot more color LOL

 Place looks great

Gary
Thank You Gary!!

They're falling like crazy right now. Hopefully they'll all be down before the first big snow!!!

Thanks Cliff !!

I figured you were 2 or 3 weeks ahead of us up there on leaf colors.

We like that Pellet stove. We got it last year, but didn't use it much because of my health. My oxygen was pretty close too.

Sold my Lopi "Liberty" woodstove to a guy from Thunder Bay, and he drove all the way down here & back to pick it up!!!

I have leaf envy.  Here in South Texas our leaves will go from green to brown with nothing in between.  I will still mow the yard about three more times before Christmas.

Very nice!  I would love to live up there.

Down here in S Florida, we go from green to blue and gray.  You know, all the blue and gray hair snowbirds come down for the winter and nest in their beachfront condos.

Scoop,

Are you sure you'd like to live up here? Sometimes it's just white around here!!

I've never been to Florida, but this is why most of those Blues & Grays come down there.

This was in October too!!!

Your place looks great, Bear. Up here in the mountains, we don't get as much colour but the Tamaracs are turning yellow and we have red leaves in our garden. We never lose them before snow.

Your little spot looks like a slice of heaven. You would spend many hours at a place like that with a beverage, a snack and a smoker. Enjoy!

Nice spot there Bear....up here in the PNW it's mostly green with all the rains...trees, mold, etc...LOL but we do get spots of color here & there. Right now we be fogged in but later in the day the sun will appear and just be a glorious day....Willie
