I have tried two sets of AAA Energizer 900mAh rechargeable batteries with two different chargers but for some reason my remote will not get the signals from the transmitter after just a few minutes (I have to move the remote to within 3 feet to update temps). I can install just store bought batteries & the ET-73 works fine (I can be in the house with the remote & it updates) and these batteries will last 4 or 5 12 hr smokes.
Any ideas on what is going on ?
What kind of rechargeable batteries and/or charger & where to buy?
By the way, my son uses the same chargers/AA batteries with his XBOX controllers & they last a long time.
Just seems strange my Maverick doesn't like rechargable batteries.

I can't give you an exact answer butt rechargeable batteries are more for high consumption devices.

I use Duracell rechargeable batteries in my et-73 and I haven't had to replace them yet and I got it a little over a month ago.
I also have forgotten to turn one or the other off a few times and even left one on for two full days and they are still going strong.
I use just a basic duracell charger that came in a set of chargers and batteries, no issues with anything that I use them in and I use them in everything.
