This is my first attempt at Beef Ribs.I had two racks of short beef ribs from our local butcher shop. Thawed them out along with a pork butt and rubbed both down with "Bad Byron's Buttt Rub"  Let them rest overnight in the fridge.

I smoked them around 225-235 with Cherry wood (1st time) and loved the wood!!!

Here they are just before I started spritzing them.  I would have spritzed them sooner, but my oldest son had his first soccer game.

I did a 3-2-1 method and here they are just after pulling.

Here is the pork butt after a very short rest.  This thing took 16 hours to get to 200 degrees.  Everyone was hungry...including me!

All pulled ready for the plate.

Our Safeway had frozen beef ribs on sale yesterday at about $1.89 per pound.  It looked to me like they had been through a meat scraper!  Hardly any meat left on them -- especially in comparison to the pork rib sides I have bought.
