Been trying to make some sourdough with pickles, 3 time fail. After draining, spinning in salad spinner to remove the juice the diced pickles still destroy the dough.

So

I'm trying some dehydrated pickles.

Ground up some. Next some SD Pickle bread.

In for the finish Rick, I just made 12 pints of pickles/red onions yesterday. Once I get the hang of making the bread, I might dehydrate both the pickles and onion for one.

I tried to make Pickle bread--once (not machine version). NOT impressed

I’m also curious how this turns out. My wife and one of my daughters are the bread bakers but I’m willing to toss them a challenge 😂

This makes sense. Just like using dehydrated jalapenos in sausage.

I can make a mean beer bread, that is about the extent of my baking, tried a few different IPA's all with good feedback in the past. If you ever need a sourdough taste tester I can PM you my address ;)

I was reading up on a blueberry lemon this morning . One gal took dehydrated berries and spun them into a powder . Mixed some in the dough , then added whole berries .
Gave it some color . Thought it was interesting .
Going to try the dehydrator pickles soon.
