OK this comes about every year.
I am so irritated of the time change. I wish our representatives would finish the bill the senate passed years ago to repeal the Federal regulation. Many states have trigger laws to adopt a single time once the Feds get off their ass.
I migrate south from central to eastern time zones. It messes my timing in the opposite. I get up earlier in eastern time. With standard time I will be up mesed up for another hour.

I don't mind the change so much. (It's been going on forever) but if we're going to keep it one way. let's keep it at standard time. At DST it wouldn't get light here in Minnesota til almost 9:00 AM. Don't want my grandkids walking to school in the dark just to keep it light out til 5:30 instead of 4:30. My $0.02.

It's been this way all my life... I don't have a problem with it. But take into consideration I sometimes have to get up in the middle of the night to load pigs. That causes some sleep deprivation. As I get older I feel the need for all the beauty sleep I can get though! Might have to get into the nap habits!

I have sent many emails to my reps to do just what you suggested……Arizona has it right cause they just said pound sand and we aren't going to play along!

It does not effect me now that I am retired but I still find it stupid and there is no reason to keep it going on at this point in history. I have always been a night time lover and it FK*D me up every year for as long as I can remember. Who actually thinks this is a good idea?

In my younger years it was tougher but got easier as I aged, retired now and hunting starts at 30 minutes before daylight, long as i get up before daylight and get out there to see the world wake up I'm good, it's been a rare thing for a clock to wake me up to go to work the last 25 years, I kept 1 set but not sure the ringer even works

I remember one time we showed up an hour early so went back home... then ended up being late by the time we went back lol!

Still to this day never needed an alarm. Somehow could just wake up when I needed.

We had our weekend 4th shift (12 am-12 pm) complain and wanted a extra hour pay. They wasn't willing to lose a hour pay when time moved forward though. LoL

The only thing I liked about falling back this morning is I have a tendency to sleep later than I want (work from home semi-retired), but only from appearance reasons, I dont feel right sleeping like a teenager, but love sleeping until my body wants to wake up! Many people would pay good money for such sleep...

I was proudly up by 7:45 this morning but already feel like I could take a nap!

The dark coming early was already screwing things up though. I hate grilling under lights out in the dark but dont like to eat dinner till 6:30-7. I just stop grilling for the season for the most part and move anything that can be griddled to the cast iron griddle in the garage but that requires setting up an exhaust fan...etc.. so once the temps are real cold I stop even that, and start soups and casseroles!..and roasts...

I kinda hate changing the time around. just pick one stay with with it for gods sake! my dogs dont know the clock moved and they just get up at the "regular time" which now is 6AM.

Honestly, I could take it or leave it. I assume that someone is being enriched by keeping it this way. Anytime something is this contentious I always wonder what one would find looking at the money trail.

thats always my thought too...when it does make sense, someone's gettin paid. Or some jackwagon ruined it for the rest of us.
