Dad thought I needed a bath, me not so much but he won. 🤣

My Golden does not like to get in the shower but once in he is fine. When out he runs around the house like a happy little puppy.

Our Cocker just walks right in like it's nothing. She also runs around like a happy little puppy after but she is a happy little puppy.

A little update on this. My wife washes our dogs in our shower. My job is to rangle them into it. She sits on a small stool while I have to push them into the shower. I recently replaced the shower head with a rain shower for us with a hand held faucet to wash the dogs. You can switch between the two.

Both of them are pretty good once they are in there and getting washed. They get towel dried then set free to run around the house like wild 100 MPH doggies.

Our beagle gets the zoomies when he comes out, beats all I ever seen, the lab did too and he would rub/shove against every piece of furniture in the house, no matter how much you toweled him, he passed awhile back and what we would give to have him back :emoji_cry:

Lol! Our dog was pretty smart; you couldn't say the word "bath" around her, or she'd run and hide. But as soon as we started leading her to the bathroom, she knew what was up. She happily went along with everything else but that. She was around 35-40 lbs. and it usually took at least 2 of us to bathe her. One to wash and shampoo, and the other to keep her from jumping out of the tub.
Don't know why, but she was adverse to all water. Wouldn't wade in it in summer, and wouldn't do her business outside if it was raining. But she could hold it longer than any dog I've ever known.

Oh Haley loves water as any good golden should lol.
I think its the unknown that bothers her in a confined space. Once in she is fine. Its the getting out that becomes a side show. I might as well just jumped in with her as I was as wet as she was in the end. :emoji_shower:
She says she is just fine today with her very soft clean fur. lol

Skidmark hated any standing water. He was fine with rain, hoses, and sprinklers.
