YO ALL Y'ALL,
i do not own a gosms.

if i spend money on a smoker ,
this will be the one.

one of the things that attract me to this unit is,
it being able to hold roasting temps of 325 f.

any how--
couldnt you smoke chicken at 225 f for a couple of hrs [maybe 135 internal]
then take out smoker chip box and water pan --
then turn heat up to high temp till done at 170 f ???

wouldnt that get chicken skin crispy???

My GOSM will hold temps of 375-400. I cook chicken at 325-350. It takes about 1 1/2 hours for a whole chicken, 1 hour for breasts. They get plenty of smoke and have crispy skin. Juiciest chicken you could ever hope for.
