i do not own a gosms.

if i spend money on a smoker ,
this will be the one.

one of the things that attract me to this unit is,
it being able to hold roasting temps of 325 f.

any how--
couldnt you smoke chicken at 225 f for a couple of hrs [maybe 135 internal]
then take out smoker chip box and water pan --
then turn heat up to high temp till done at 170 f ???

wouldnt that get chicken skin crispy???
My GOSM will hold temps of 375-400. I cook chicken at 325-350. It takes about 1 1/2 hours for a whole chicken, 1 hour for breasts. They get plenty of smoke and have crispy skin. Juiciest chicken you could ever hope for. is reader supported and as an Amazon Associate, we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases.
