After a test run of bacon buck futta and I, feeling much more confident in our smoking abilities, smoked up a couple of chicken wings(16 lbs.) a friend brought over. Put a nice cayenne pepper dry rub on em. Smoked em with a mix of cherry and hickory wood at about 200 for 3 hours. About every 30-45 minutes we opened it and gave em a quick spritz of apple cider vinegar. About an 45 minutes before they were done we sauced em up a bit. All said and done these were the best wings, far in a way, that i have ever had in my life. Had to drive em out to the party 30 minutes away before we could start smashin on them tho. And that smell for the whole drive and knowing you cant eat them...it was the longest half hour ever.
