Cornish Game Hens

Gonna do some yard birds tomorrow and found some game hens in the freezer. Gonna brine the yard birds and thought about throwing the game hens in with them. How long should they be in the brine ? They are alot smaller. What about temp ? Same 170* like the birds ?

The temp should be the same for all poultry. As far as how long to brine, that's hard to say because I don't know how many birds in total you're brining. My guess would be minimum 6 hrs.

same time on the brine- just rinse really well (24hrs is kinda a standard on all brine from what i've read-minimum 12)and i'd go to 180 on whole poultry.
