I needed a work area for when I cook. Had some wood laying around and made this work station 105cm x 30cm x 123cm (3.4 ft x 1ft x 4 ft).
The table is 45cm (18 inches) deep.
I'll stain, clear coat and add better wheels next week.

Painting is done. The stain matches my carport and wood shed. Next comes the clear coat.

Great job Smokemaster. Very functional and allows you to keep everything right by the smoker. You should put together some plans and a cut sheet and post it. I think you're on to something here.

That's a great looking station. Wish I had something that nice. Great Job!

Very nice work. You should get a lot of use out of it.

It would be cool if it had a little wash basin that you could hook a garden hose up to. Can't tell you how many times I go out to the smoker and end up getting a load of something sticky on both hands and have to get delicate about opening the door to the house.

Just a thought......

that is sweet. i just use the dining room table, and carry everything out to the porch when i need it. i don't have much room on the porch, so i use the window a/c in hunter's room as a "table" to set stuff on. it is right behind me (off to the side just a bit) when i am standing at my smoker.

for the "dirty hands" problem, i stuff a couple or three paper towels in my back pocket, and pull them out when i load the smoker. i also have a pair of pot holders that are "mine"- just for smoking. i also have a pair of oven mitts that are mine. the wife has her own.

Smokemaster, you are great with doing something besides burning wood. Very nice layout and clean looking wood too! You've impressed me with a different skill.
