Cookin' up a storm!

The National Weather Service says what's left of Florence is supposed to start up this way this evening and ruin a perfectly good weekend. I feel pretty sure we'll loose power, so I'm doin' a little cookin' while Janet is workin'.

I made a bacon & sausage perlow yesterday and I'm workin' on a batch of bacon & beans right now. I brought in my double burner cook stove and a full bottle of propane, so I'll be able to warm up some food and make tea for Janet and coffee for myself.

I'm stocked up on food, ammunition and whisky, so I'm set! BRING IT!
