I went there to get some pellets and they have a great shop! pretty much had everything I love for pellets, sauce, rubs, you name it. Lumberjack were buy 5 get one free (pretty sure this is for all pellets they carry), they have a cash back program as well. VERY cool guys working there. I think there are a few locations-I hit the one off Santa Fe (Rio Grand). As many of you know I love Rec Teq - they are a dealer! Happy shopping!

Good to know. I’ll check them out next time I’m up that way
Next time you are out in close to D town, check out the Seasoned Swine! Golden Location is right off 70. Owner was there and super good guy! good Q, probably the best I have had at a restaurant.

Will do, thanks for the info.

Man, i couldn't be any further away. Down here in the Durango area. Wish we had something better than Ace hardware down here!
Next time you make it this way, you know where to get the goods. Im up near Conifer, I try to plan trips to the city because I dont enjoy the big city any longer. So when I have to go, I buy as much as I can (Costco, BBQ shop, places the small mtn towns just dont have) and try to find a good lunch spot to make it more worth it.

It's always good to find and support a local shop like this one. I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm up there. My avoidance of the big cities is getting stronger and stronger every year. We live in a mountain side community north of Bayfield. If the kid and wife want to go shopping or i have a VA appointment, Farmington, NM is about an hour south of us. I usually try to keep those trips to a minimum.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't make it up to Denver often anymore... I do my best to stay away. But if and when we do I'll keep that in mind.

Ace is probably my best resource. We have a Walmart & Safeway here and that's pretty much it. And they don't carry anything. They pretty much cater to the vegans around here these days.

After you live in a small town, there is no going back and the disdain for big cities only gets worse over time. We only go when needed. Otherwise, our neighbors are bears, dear, elk, fox and moose...and thats how we like it.
