I might have gotten a little soft... or smarter as I'd like to think... no more going out to see if a vehicle will start or need a battery charger... my vehicles are kept in 50 heated garage or shop.
But will admit... the wind on the face was raw today.

Ryan
I have a 50 degree heated garage too. absolutely love it.

I expect there ain't a loaf of bread or jug of milk to be had anywhere, either lol.
You would be correct Doug. Stopped by Publix around 4pm this afternoon to pick up meds for the wife as she has the flu🤑
Parking lot was full. Everyone inside had a loaded buggy and staff was busy restocking the shelves! I'm sure it will be the same tomorrow all over the area.
Just nuts 🤪

I chuckle... you have a buggy... to us northerners they are shopping carts! :emoji_blush:
Yes, I'm easily amused!

Went for a walk this afternoon. I had to wear gloves.
I don't miss the days of checking vehicles to make sure doors open or when the block heater on my Dodge burned out getting up at 3 AM to start the truck and let it warm so it would start again at 7 AM.

I call them a shopping trolley. Expression I picked up from an ex pat years ago.
Down here we get asked if from up north or Ireland.

Woke up to a balmy 5℉ this morning. At least it's not as windy as forecasted.

The SIL lives in Slidell LA and she's been sending the wife videos of the dog playing the snow.Everything is shutdown, around here business booms on snow days especially the bars.

Not as cold here as some other places, but still cold for us. It was 20℉ at daylight and up to 25℉ now. They are calling for "significant snow" here today, but not sure what that means. An inch of snow will shut us down and empty the store shelves...

Haha.
Skimmed through the thread. While others in the country are thinking they are seeing the ends of time it is a normal life in ND. Yesterday High was -15F Low was -22F with wind chills in the -45F or worse. This morning started at -17F Wind Chill -40F and we should be around 0 by noon but that wind could be brutal. The nice part is if you do have to go somewhere, there is a little less traffic around town or at stores.
Just remember fellas the Minn Vikings are out of the playoffs so we know for sure in Feb that H$!! will not freeze over in 2025

Kinda cold in ETn but no snow to deal with, don’t bother sending any from down south, it is winter and mother nature can be a bieach lol

6" accumulation by 10am....and coming down heavy now. Supposed to snow all day then clear out. low down to 11*F tonight. Historic for south Louisiana.

I walked outside to air the dog out and heard kids laughing while playing in the snow...reminds me of my childhood.
