About an hour ago, I finished cleaning mine for the last time!

Anyone have experience with any of the systems available for gutter protection.

Any recommendations?

I know how much of a hassle it can be. As for gutter protection systems, I’ve tried to get quotes from couple of contractors and decided to hire gouttieressaintjerome.ca and it was a good decision, so get suggestions from them.
I know how much of a hassle clean gutters . As for gutter protection systems, I’ve tried a couple of different ones over the years. The mesh covers are a good option if you’re looking for something relatively easy to install. They block larger debris while still letting water flow through. Another option could be solid cover systems, like LeafGuard or similar brands, which work really well in keeping out leaves and other small debris, though they can be a bit pricier.

It all depends on the amount of maintenance you're willing to do and your budget. I’ve good experience with the mesh, but if you're looking for a more permanent solution and have the budget for it, the solid systems can be worth the investment.

My wife's cousin lived in a wooded area and got Leafguard gutters for her house. She had the lifetime guarantee, which I'm not sure came with it, or if she purchased it separately? Good thing she had it, though. Those gutters would constantly clog up with pine needles, and Leafguard would have to come out every few months to clean them out. They got so irritated about it, that they refused to sell gutters to any of her neighbors.

Haven't experience the Leaf Filter, but the various screens and filters are OK for today, but all eventually need to be cleaned.
I'm changing to 6" gutters and 3x4 downspouts. Don't plug it, pass it.

Maybe the ladder fell over and he can't get down . 8 hours on a roof is bad enough ,,, but 11 years !
Been there done that?

John that is what I had on our house in Central Fl and they will clog if you have trees close enough to blow a lot of leaves into them. When the gutters and getting them installed I thought that big would handle the leaves and the rain would just push it all down the spouts but it didn't. Might have taken longer to clog but also a bigger mess to clean/unclog. Neighbors live oaks and black jack oaks were close enough to be a pain

I’m going with a stainless steel wire mesh type. (Raptor gutter guards) Bought a box of it to try out first. Does awesome in downpours, it handles the water. Is there maintenance involved? I’m assuming yes. Still waiting on spring to see how they do with the Oaks around here. I’m fine with cleaning the mesh gutter guards once a year verses multiple times a year.

I need to tackle this as well, need all new gutters as they can't handle the rains after a couple trees hit the house during a hurricane. Problem is, at least around here, is that it is a very sketchy industry with lot's of scammers in it. I want some kind of good guards to battle all the oaks on the property as I am past climbing on an extension ladder anymore.

The upsize works well in MN and yes they all need a complete cleaning a couple times a year. Right now I have to clean every week while the oak and ash trees go through bloom
