I know how much of a hassle clean gutters . As for gutter protection systems, I’ve tried a couple of different ones over the years. The mesh covers are a good option if you’re looking for something relatively easy to install. They block larger debris while still letting water flow through. Another option could be solid cover systems, like LeafGuard or similar brands, which work really well in keeping out leaves and other small debris, though they can be a bit pricier.About an hour ago, I finished cleaning mine for the last time!
Anyone have experience with any of the systems available for gutter protection.
Any recommendations?
I know how much of a hassle it can be. As for gutter protection systems, I’ve tried to get quotes from couple of contractors and decided to hire gouttieressaintjerome.ca and it was a good decision, so get suggestions from them.
Didn't bother to see the date from the op!I wonder what the original poster ended up with? Especially until today it hasn't been posted on since 2014!

Been there done that?Maybe the ladder fell over and he can't get down . 8 hours on a roof is bad enough ,,, but 11 years !
John that is what I had on our house in Central Fl and they will clog if you have trees close enough to blow a lot of leaves into them. When the gutters and getting them installed I thought that big would handle the leaves and the rain would just push it all down the spouts but it didn't. Might have taken longer to clog but also a bigger mess to clean/unclog. Neighbors live oaks and black jack oaks were close enough to be a painHaven't experience the Leaf Filter, but the various screens and filters are OK for today, but all eventually need to be cleaned.
I'm changing to 6" gutters and 3x4 downspouts. Don't plug it, pass it.

I need to start doing this!I honestly just pay someone every other year to clean ours. Costs 300.00 and they do a great job. Now that there isn't a tree near our home. I'll probably wait longer.
The upsize works well in MN and yes they all need a complete cleaning a couple times a year. Right now I have to clean every week while the oak and ash trees go through bloomJohn that is what I had on our house in Central Fl and they will clog if you have trees close enough to blow a lot of leaves into them.
