Fired up the Horizon today, first time in two weeks. Man I tell ya I was jonesing for some Q.

Picked up a nice 4 lber last week at the store.

Here we have it all seasoned up with some basic seasoning.

It turned out pretty good if I say so myself. Here we are before pulling.

Then of course the finished product.

We just put it on hamburger buns with a few sides.

Here is on of my favorite sides before cooking.

    Part way through the cook

    Then after the cook.

Once again they turned out really well.

    Thanks for lookin.

Gotta love the chuckies! My family loves them. The crock pot hasn't seen one since I started working with the smokers.

    Thanks guys.

The wife is a care giver for elderly folks and one of her clients is an older southern gentlemen. I had sent him some pp and ribs to see if he would like it, well he loved it. So some of this is going his way also. I make sure when I smoke I make enough for Mr.King.

That's really nice for you to do that Rick...[IMG]
If the word spreads around and judging by those great pics of the smoke, I see lots of people moving into your home shortly.....LOL[IMG]

I haven't tried a Chuckie yet. Would you mind posting your temps, foiled at what temp? Or didn't foil? What was the finishing temp?
    Thanks Rick.....[IMG]

Sure Oneshot. My target temp on the smoker is normally 240 or so, I don't sweat temps swings to much. I took the chuckie up to 165 then foiled, after that I took it off @ 205 and let it rest for an hour or so in a towel in a cooler before pulling.
