This is a fantastic recipe. Our family loves it! Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s quick, easy and great to make if you have a hankerinâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] for chili but donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t want to spend all day cooking. Plus, itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s ‘healthyâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]…
Ingredients
1 lb. ground round (try ground turkey for a healthier dinner)
2 - 15 oz. cans black beans - undrained (try ‘no salt addedâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] for a healthier dinner)
1 cup medium or hot chunky salsa
2 - 8 fl. oz. cans tomato sauce (try ‘no salt addedâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] for a healthier dinner)
1 tablespoon chili seasoning mix
sour cream (try low-fat for a healthier dinner) (optional)
shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Cook meat and drain if necessary.
Drain and mash 1 can of beans. Add mashed beans, undrained beans, salsa, tomato sauce and seasoning mix to saucepan. Stir well.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Top with sour cream and shredded cheese (optional).
We also LOVE to eat this chili with corn chips (like Fritos). The â€[emoji]8482[/emoji]scoopsâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] work well.
