I'm doing ribs (2-2-1 method) and chicken quarters today. I need a rough estimate on how long the quarters will take, so they are done about the same time. I know I need to smoke to temp and not put the chicken above the ribs, just need a rough estimate. Thanks!

it my be too late but it shouldn't take more than 2 hrs.......depending on size. also if you remove the back bone part at the joint they will cook better.

Depends on what temp you used to smoke at. I usually give them 2 1/2 hours, but my wife wants her chicken DONE!!
Even then, they end up on the hot gasser to crisp the skin up some.
