I like the occasional baked potato but I don't want to heat up the oven (and whole house) and they're not the same made in a microwave.

Instead, I poke then with a fork and oil them a bit, wrap them in foil and place them in a cast iron frying pan. I cover the pan and put it on the lowest flame I can keep lit on a gas stove.

Turn them every once in a while and they're done when they give when you squeeze them. Finish at a higher heat if you like the spuds browned a bit.

I don't know how long this takes and that would depend on the size of the potatoes, size of the frying pan and burner output. But it's not something you do in a hurry.

Technically it's not a Dutch oven recipe but it is a cast iron recipe. If you had a lot of potatoes to bake you could use a Dutch oven.
