Hello all,while tending the ole MES on a brisket quest ,decided to brine a couple yard birds and smoke em on the grill with a combo of cherry and apple.
I used DJ'S brine recipe and threw a 1/4 tsp of garlic powder,onion powder,oregano and club house montreal chicken spice in a half can of beer ( alpine of course ) gotta support the local brewery
....rubbed the outsides with a little EVOO and some of the chicken spice and mrs. dash original......turned out delish
