Looking for bread recipes y'all like....
This is a good one . Makes one big loaf , or you could make 2 smaller ones .
The brown sugar is key . I've made it without , and it wasn't the same .

This is good too . Takes a bit of work / technique .

No. not necessary...I should have been more clear when I typed the question.

Einkorn is an ancient wheat grain and used extensively in Europe. Much better for the body than what we have now commercially in the U.S.

Is it similar to spelt?

I've never done a 100% Einkorn loaf. It works best for me in 25%-30% of a grain bill. My favorite is 10% rye, 20% Einkorn and the rest hard red or white wheat.

Found this at a local natural grocers. Jovial is supposed to be one of the better processors of Einkorn products. Will make some Indian fry bread with it tonight for Navajo tacos. I will use it straight with no other flour. They say it takes less water and makes a more sticky dough. I will report back.

Great bread made with Eink. Ancient grain. What ever recipe you use follow it to the T or you will end up with a dense flat disk.

Better if you grind yourself.

Looking forward to pics of the fry bread and tacos!

Made good fry bread. It has a delicious wheat flavor for sure.

And the taco, what can I say? These are straight up delicious. Pinto and Anasazi beans topped with seasoned ground pork, green Chile gravy, cheese, onion, lettuce, and tomato with a side of avocado.

Yea, I hit that!
