I've been a member of this forum for over a year, using a "blower"  with vent covers to attempt to make my (blocked) regular Weber kettle into a "smoker" - which it actually did on a "small" scale (less than 3 hours of smoking.) But now I have what I have read many times is the BEST - an 18.5 Weber Smokey Mountaln smoker. Please give me ADVICE!

Hello Drummer, and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.   I have a home made RF but I am sure someone who has a WSM will be along to help.

Gary
