Hi,
Was looking at buying Bradley P10 but there are so many negative reviews
What is your experience with it?
Thank you

I owned an older Bradley many years ago. Food was tasty but the pucks are expensive. I'd be hesitant to spend $800 on the P10. There are tons of threads here on what smoker should I buy and why. They may help you find a few other choices.

Never owned a Bradley but do have an MES 40 and from what I've seen and read on here it's a MUCH better option.
But others with more experience will chime in.

I owned a Bradley several years ago and I wouldn't recommend it. As was already stated the pucks are expensive. I also was never able to get it to go above 250. Always got good results with it but overall I'd say there's better options.

Awesome, appreciate your input!

Right. I hate when manufacturers hook you into further purchases. Definite turnoff

Realistically if you could find a used 40" Masterbuilt Electric Smoker(MES) do the simple rewire and add an Auber PID you'd have a better smoker at a fraction of the cost.Doing the "mailbox mod" makes it even better. It just might not be as pretty though!

I've been getting 120 packs of pucks for $40. Each puck lasts 20 minutes. That's $1 per hour for smoke. That doesn't seem all that expensive to me, but other people's opinion vary on this topic. It is certainly more expensive than using pellets in an a-maze-n tray. Using the pucks is super convenient, and I'm generally only adding smoke for the first 3-4 hours.

No opinion here on the P10 as I have not seen or used one. The normal Bradley digital smokers are not as robust a cabinet as the Masterbuilt units (I have one of each.)

Consider a pellet smoker like Rec Teq. bomb proof and make great meat products. if the P10 is $800, then the price point is right there.

The regular Bradleys are only half built. I ran a dual element controlled by an Auber PID that could do everything. Hot smoke, cold smoke (kinda) and ran rock solid.
