How heavy a bone-in butt do I need for 10? Actually, I'll probably do a couple, instead of one big one.

    Thx!

I believe you would want to to have approx 3/4 lb per person unless they are big eaters and or you want left overs then go a bit heavier,my .02 worth [IMG]

We're firefighters, so we usually double what the "normal" person would make! Gonna do pulled pork for the fourth.

Far better to have too much than not enough..... [IMG]

  8. Did two 7 pounders for my B-day and fed about 20 with a couple pounds left over for me to inhale the next day [IMG]

i usually trim a lot of fat off after & save some of the bone meat w/ the bone to freeze for beans or blackeyed peas thats why i say so much.
