I actually found this website yesterday and for years have been trying to learn how to smoke sausage. I especially want to learn to smoke venison summer sausage. I was amazed at the amount of information about smoking sausage and the number of posters with a wealth of information on the subject. I am an avid outdoorsman and love to hunt, fish, garden and do just about anything outdoors. I learned to process my on venison and other game. I have a grinder, meat slicer, cuber to take care of my venison. I enjoy cooking outdoors and have a 22.5 Weber grill plus a Weber 18.5 smoker. Love to smoke pork ribs and pork butts. I would truly love to learn how to smoke sausage and hopefully those with the knowledge to smoke sausage will take me under their wings. I took the nickname Bones from my son who when playing pop warner football was always skinny and played older lighter. His football coach nicknamed him Bones. He is still called Bones to this day.
