I just love Dr. Swami & Bone Daddy's Low Calorie Margarita Mix and the regular is really good. I seen they have a bloody mix and got one to try this weekend. Those river rats are getting expensive but I do love making cocktails on Sundays!

After a thorough test, Mrs Okie, aka the Margarita Mama , has put her full stamp of approval on this mix.

I would enjoy that. I put pickle juice in my Bloody Mary's. And a great mix is the Real Dill, just a tad on the expensive side and I like my own better.
Looks interesting. But. I'm like you. I prefer my own mix if I have the goodies on hand for it.

Bringing this back to life! I saw this in a thread I was cruising through. And knew I had to try it. No vodka in the house. But, I'll correct that tomorrow. I really like their pickles, sooooo

I still making Bloody Mary's for the prayer meeting at the River on Sundays. I just been using Zing Zang lately as it not to $$. I been adding A.1. Steak Sauce, pickle juice and a smokey hot sauce. Pretty good. I save my favorite Evil Cowboy just for me now!

I love dill pickle Caesar's...I'll try that V8 mix...but it occurs to me that the V8 would neither be a Bloody Mary NOR a Caesar.....Maybe we call it the Red Steve? Red H? Either way I like mine with a little horseradish too...

Thanks for bringing this back. I haven't seen it and it's a mighty fun read!

I'm always looking out for new mixers for bloody Mary's. Picked this up the other day.

I had some without the booze first. It is actually pretty good. I added a dash of salt to it.
Then added a splash of vodka. 1 shot for this amount.
Verdict? Not impressed with it. For some reason it just didn't "work "with the vodka. This isn't the first time I had a mixer that didn't blend well with the booze.
Other than making my own mixer. I enjoy using Clamato juice. Or Mr and Mrs T's everything but the kitchen sink mixer.
What are your favorites for bloody Mary's?
Steve,,,I like Zing Zang but recently found this one made by V8...has the pickle which I like a lot. see picture.
