It’s pretty crazy. They walk by pretty regularly. Deer year round. Bears only in summer. I need to find the mama bear with her cubs walking by

If I had bear on my deck, I'd have a few Irish wolf hounds around. I like to walk outside in the middle of the night to take a leak and look at the stars without packing a gun.

we have tow labs...but we only let them out to potty. one chases the deer the other just could care less.

happens all the time, never gets old. Bears are only summer visitors. we have a fox on the property too.

Nice, we've only had a couple bears come through our place, had a mountain lion hanging around this summer for a bit. But he ran off pretty quick.

I didn't even notice the Y.L in your avatar, it was so early in the AM.
My last dog was a Y.L.M. he was the best dog I've ever had, I've only had Lab's my whole life, they are great dogs, and great shed'ers as well.
Out of the four Lab's I've had one might have given the bear something to think about, the others would have hid behind me. LOL!!!

the two we have now are #2 and 3, the first was my first dog. he was special but left us too early. the two we have now are polar opposites. One is a total spaz, the other super chill. the spaz can sense a critter a mile out and will start barking. when we first moved up here he chased deer...which as awful, hes mellowed on that...mostly. I have to watch him close.
