Soooo, I forgot to put my hog casings back into brined water.  I left them in an open bowl in the fridge in plain water.  12 days ago..........

They dont smell off or anything.  Do you think they are ok to eat?  I would hate to toss them.  TY guys.
 
Pull on them.... Stretch them to see if they are rotten....   Could be they are starting to decompose...   If you had meat in there for 12 days, it would be well on it's way to rotting....   refer temps do not curtail the growth of all known pathogens..  only a few...   that is why there is a "sell by" date on stuff......
