Are there some plants that work better with others?

It is my understanding that some plants compliment each other when planted together.

Is there a list somewhere of what these are?

besides smoking food and ice fishing

growing indoors is also a big passion for me...so i have to plant things together to optimize space

you will also want to check out what plants are natural bug ememies

ie: plant some marigolds with your tomatoes and you will have no bugs
