From what I've read and seen, I think it will be a nice outfit. Keep us posted as you go, pro's/ cons.

Have mine for about a year now. No complaints what so ever. Works like a champ. Cooks like a dream. Set it & forget it. Double insulated walls allow cooking in freezing temps; no blanket required. Vacuum the ash out on a regular basis & it will take care of the rest. Built solid. Have never had to use customer service but from what I've read; they are second to none. Owners are regularly on the Facebook page & answer questions there as well. I use the Lumberjack pellets that I mix with some PitBoss that I got on clearance at Walmart. So far ; I couldn't be happier with the Silverbac.

Got my Silverbac for Christmas and absolutely love it. I'm in Michigan and it holds temps on the coldest, windiest days without a problem. My only regret is that I almost bought something else before I stumbled on them by accident. Enjoy your grill, welcome to the jungle.

Love my Silverbac, had it for about a year, and it rocks cold weather. Actually baked all our Thanksgiving pies and Christmas cookies on it last December! Customer service is the best I've seen in any industry.

does that impart a smoky taste on your food? that's one of my concerns about a pellet grill. is everything going to taste like smoke?

Those Silverbacks were plenty Nasty in the movie "Grillas in The Mist".
Wait a minute---That might have been "Gorillas in the Mist"

The temp you run the Silverbac will determine the amount of smoke flavor. Run at 225-250 you'll get the maximum amount of smoke. Grill at 325-350 & you will barely notice the smoke.
