Any one else have a Wii. We just got one and I was looking online for games....They have cooking games for this thing. A couple different ones from what I read. Just wondering if you guys have any of these games and what your opinion is. These things are great for the family. My 3 year old can bowl a 175..He beats most of the family..lol..it's just great !
I thought the restaurant games would be fun because the whole family loves to help me in the kitchen. There is one that you work in a pizza place and another for a burger restuarant. I'm sure I am missing stuff but how funny.

I got a Wii for my 4 year old daughter and she plays the Wii sports a lot. We also have Cooking Mama. We really don't care for the game too much, but I bought it by recommendation of my boss. If you can spare the $3, I would highly recommend renting the cooking game first or talk to your local Gamestop...they have let me return a few unwanted games (but don't abuse it). As far as the pizza and burger thing...I don't have that one.

What you do is go to Gamestop, buy a couple of those cooking games, and as long as you return them within 7 days, you won't get penalized for 'not likeing them'. This being said because my brother happens to be the manager of our local Gamestop. Otherwise, I would definatly recommend Mario Kart Wii, but make sure that you get the steering wheel attachments as they completely make the game. Other good games for a group of people are Mario Party, Wii Sports, and there's a new suite of wii sports games, but I can't remember the title off hand.
If you decide that you want to get into fitness and think about buying any fitness games, save your money! They're not worth it. Have fun with your new Wii! If you have any other questions, go ahead and PM me.

Thanks for the info guys......better rent some games before buying them. I already have the steering wheels on order along with mario cart and resort sports...this thing is a blast.

I can bowl and Mario Kart, but that is about it. Haven't tried the cooking games, but maybe I should.

The Mario Party games are real family fun... We spend about every Sunday playing at least one round. You have to get at least one. They all are the same as far as game play, but each game has different mini games and game themes. I think we play Mario Party 8 the most, but we went through the rest already.

Have fun

We also have the dust collector with the wii sport and fit. Maybe if I tried to play we might but I've never been a gamer. The last video game I played was space invaders any of you know that one or were you all born after that one.

You can get all the old school games for the Wii. It does require that you do some hacking, but frankly the hack is easy and it's all written to a memory card, not the system itself so bricking the Wii isn't a big worry.

I have done the hack successfully. Check your local listings for the legality of doing any sort of hacking however.

I love the Wii. I have an X-Box 360 also but we use it less and less every day.
