ML313-2, Slicers that old may have a dull blade but a stone will fix it if you/or someone you know is knowledgeable about sharpening. Hobart is a well made machine. If the price is right and it runs then grab it !
I had a 1612 from 2015 to 2021. Built like a tank. Most used ones date back to late 60's to early 70's. Most of them for sale are gummed up around the index dial mechanism, and the gauge plate rods and need a good cleaning/lubing. The one I had was so bad I had to take a torch and rubber mallet to loosen the guide rods. I paid 150$ for it. Parts are still available for the most part.
Been down this road... you will need to reach out to a Hobart/ITW service center, they can enter the serial number into the Hobart Service System and get you the info. Had the same thing with mine and a 5 minute phone call to the local service company providing me all the information I needed plus sent me electronic copies of the service manual.
