I will be out of it in a week or so. I will promptly start another couple.
This time i want to try and slice it on a slicing machine so i can have slices about as thick as the thick bacon we buy in super markets.
I enjoyed the thick cuts but wondered how the bacon would taste if it were crispy and much thinner.

Has anyone tried it this way yet?????

Well, seeing as I have my own slicer, when it comes to BBB, I slice some of it thick and some of it thin- Ma Dutch likes all of her bacon on the crispy side and that includes Buckboard bacon. The thiner slices do taste more bacony.

I like the country ham taste of the thick slices and am anxious to try the crispy ones too.
Glad someone is doing it already

Scotty -

The thickerer cuts tastes more like ham and the thinnnerer cuts more like bacon. Maybe because it gets crispier?
