2nite's traditional smoked/grilled chicken

    We do chicken at least once a week- usually Sunday, but fishing calender says we had to have chicken tonight

    The marinade ( 24 hrs);

    Store brand Teryaki Sauce; 1 cup
    1/2 cup apple juice
    2 tbls brown sugar
    1 tsp Hoison
    1 tbls red wine vinegar
    8 cloves crushed fresh garlic
    1 tsp McCormick Roasted Garlic and Red bell pepper blend spice
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp honey dijon mustard

    The smoke; 1 hour 200* or so indirect in the offset with fresh cut apple logs from the yard and a little bit of Alder chips

    The grill; direct over the apple logs untill charred

    The eats; WOW!!!

    Excellent sounding marinade, another one I'll have to file away! The smoke looked great and sounds as if the eats were just as awesome.
