Inkbirdbbq Inkbirdbbq was kind enough to send me the New INT-14-BW to test and review.

I thawed a pack of bone in butts and got them going this morning.

Trimmed the fat cap off of them both.

Rubbed

Loaded on the smoker and topped with extra rub from the foil pan. I hadn't gotten the Thermometers out yet at this point.

At about the 2 hours point I got the unit out and setup for my review.

Here it is with 2 of the probes in.

Here is the base inside the house on my stove hood.

So far these have been super easy to configure and use.

6hrs in and thunder storms showed up. Moved to the oven to finish as they were 165-169

Oven set at 195 as we aren't home for a bit. Thermometers are reading right on point within 1 degree

Not 100% happy with the bark but because I had to move them to the oven it was expected.

Nice write up

I was planning to smoke some pork butt today, too.
Woke up to pouring rain
Try again tomorrow
Bummer. I normally have a covered area but the hurricane took that out so it forced me in after 5 hours

wish I got along with my 11 better. the bluetooth is my limit. Luckily i only use on gasser rotisserie may be twice a year. I don't have the fancy ones like they sent you. My ambient was pretty inaccurate.

Brian I hear you. I was getting notifications on my phone when testing. I did have to go in and give the app permissions to stay alive when I turn my phone screen off. Most apps I make them go to sleep when the screen goes off
