I'm in love.. using my mes 30 I picked up a 2.5lb tri tip on the way home from work. I already like Jeff's rubs, so I used some Texas on it.
2 hours later it's 90% gone between me and my better half. Normally there's at least half left. So tender. This did teach me something though, I cannot rely on the internal thermometer that came with the unit, it's about 7 to 10 degrees off, creating some lighting issues with my hickory chips.
