1st smoked chicken and vidalia

    So today I dedcided to try my hand at a clucker, I did not brine but I did sprinkle it with Sticky Fingers Dry Rub and we will see how she goes!! I am about an hour out from getting her out of the smoker!!! I will post pics and results a little later!!

    What kind of a smoker do you have? Did you set the bird on the grate, on a beer can, or???

    Turned out great, and I am using a MES.......just set the bird on the provided shelves....this was also with no brining!!! bout 3 1/2 hours and the bird weighed almost 8#'s
