Got up at the crack of dawn this morning and fired up the smoker to smoke my first chuck roast along with Peculiarmike's potatoes. Been on for two hours now and is at 137*. Rubbed down with the following rub, which I use alot on steaks destined for the grill. Smoking over hickory and cherry. 4t kosher salt 3t chile powder 3t onion powder 1 1/2t garlic powder 1t paprika 1t marjoram 1/2t cumin 1/2t cracked black pepper 1/4t cinnamon Just put some burgers on too for lunch. Should be a fun night, I hope.
